I first met Mary at a wedding I shot a few years before. When she contacted me I was so excited to work with her and Clay. Then we met for their engagement session and I knew these were my people. They laughed, have a love for food and were so easy going. After the session was over they didn’t wave and just say thanks. We chatted and talked about all the important things. You know things like dogs and steak. Our love of food instantly connected us.
Wedding day was nothing short of a southern dream. Each table setting had the most beautiful mix n match china. Their families had made sure every detail was perfection. The light that came through the pergola as they said their vows. The day was filled with so much laughter and joy that my cheeks hurt. Can you tell I am still swooning over this wedding……
When we arrived the guys came walking up the drive sunglasses on and looking like they were ready for a James Bond movie or something. Mary and her girls were a photographers dream. Beautiful souls ready to make Mary’s day every bit of the dream she wanted it to be. Oh how I wish I could bottle the feeling of a moment and share it on the internet. It was one of those weddings where when my time was up I didn’t want to leave. I want to stay and spend the evening dancing the night away with these amazing people.
