Oh my gracious I can’t even tell you how precious this couple is. They came to me via recommendation of their family photographer who was not available for their date. I am so thankful to have had the chance to work with them.

This young couple taught me so much about faith, love, and respect. It was something I will never forget. From Caroline giving Elijah a journal she wrote to him in daily until the day they married, to Elijah being a part of the planning. He even sent handwritten thank you notes.

Their wedding day was full of prayer, love, and so many people there to encourage and lift them up. The entire day was planned to honor God and show those attending their commitment to put Him first. My favorite moment of their day was when Elijah’s dad, who was also the officiant, called the family and the bridal party to surround the couple during the ceremony. Once they were all joined together, they would take turns praying over the couple. It has to be one of the most amazing moments I have witnessed.

After the sweetest ceremony, it’s off to the reception. A reception with a Luigi’s pizza bar and Maggie Moo’s Ice Cream truck is a total crowd pleaser. I mean how could you not have fun at a reception designed for everyone.

Lastly I have to tell you about sneaking them away at sunset. When couples take time to step away and spend a few moments alone, it slows the day. It gives them a moment to reflect and cherish the precious moments of their wedding day. It may be a new rule of mine that all couples take time for a little stroll at sunset to soak it all in before dancing the night away.
